Early, positive experiences shape a puppy for life — and daycare can be a wonderful part of that. Timing and group matching are everything.
When to start
Most puppies can begin once their core vaccinations are complete and your vet is happy. Before that, socialisation happens in safer, controlled ways — a good facility will guide you.
Why group matching matters
A boisterous adult group can overwhelm a young puppy and teach the wrong lessons. Puppies do best with gentle, size- and age-appropriate playmates and plenty of rest.
What good looks like
- An assessment before the first full day
- Small, carefully matched groups
- Structured rest, not constant chaos
- Staff who read body language and step in early
Our daycare starts every dog with an assessment. Thinking about it for your puppy? Get in touch.
