Our story
We grew by getting it right, not getting big.
We founded PatiLee with one goal: to give pet owners a single, dependable answer in a scattered, uneven market — instead of another place to guess whether they can trust. We’re a family business, built to genuinely care for every animal that comes through our doors, not to grow on social media. Every promise we make is one a family stands behind, by name.
PatiLee opened in Zekeriyaköy, Istanbul in 2019. At the time, training was in one place, boarding in another, bathing in a third — owners rebuilt trust from scratch every time. We set out to change that: training, boarding, bathing and transfer under one roof, one team, one standard. And we only ever grew as far as we could keep giving every animal our full attention — which is what makes PatiLee a family business run day-to-day by its founders, not a franchise or a fast-scaling chain.
That standard earned real recognition: first named the best in Turkey, then the best pet facility in Europe, and this year chosen the world’s best luxury pet resort. In 2025 we brought the same welfare-first standard to Nokesville, Northern Virginia.

Beyond borders — our USA campus & ICONK9
One philosophy, two specialized brands.
PatiLee’s story began in Zekeriyaköy; today it’s growing in the United States as a complete pet-care ecosystem that covers a dog’s whole life. Our sister brand ICONK9 (Intercontinental K9) handles professional dog development — breeding, evaluation, training and placement — led by master trainer İrşat Üner. PatiLee handles daily care: family integration, boarding, daycare, the water park, wellness and lifelong support. Together, under founder Ayşegül Üner, we call it Dog Life-Cycle Management.
In the community
Responsibility beyond our gates.
We carry our responsibility past the facility doors. Through community work, we partner with schools to teach children a love of animals, responsible pet ownership, and the right way to treat street animals. We believe changing an animal’s life starts with building the right bond between people and animals.
